The best banner material is
a vinyl material with a nylon scrim in the back. This creates a strong, uv resistant banner that will last for years. The cheaper propylene banners are not uv stable and tend to fall apart within a couple months. The thickness of banners is rated in ounces. An 8 oz. banner is lighter than a 10oz. banner.
